RADFORD CLOTHING BANK

September is RWC's month to run the Clothing Bank and we need your help! Please volunteer to help us on Thursday mornings and Saturday mornings from 10am to 12 noon. Homebound Grocery Delivery His Provision is in need of a volunteer to deliver groceries to a homebound person in Pulaski. If you can help, please see or call Edith Osterbauer.

West End Women’s Tea The West End Women’s tea will be Saturday, August 30^th from 10:30 until noon in the Fellowship Hall. The speaker for the tea will be Radford City Police Chief, Don Goodman. This is a great opportunity to come and find out what’s going on in the city of Radford as well as share any concerns you may have about the west end. Parents of Kids Entering Kindergarten

Your 5-year-old may now come to Kids Church if he or she is entering Kindergarten in the fall of ’08. Parents are welcome to attend with their child for the first time if desired (this is not required, but it is an option).

Ladies Bible Study

Ladies Bible study is starting up this Fall. Ladies of RWC and our community are welcome; bring a friend. Do you find it hard to read your Bible everyday or know someone who says scripture is boring? Do you love God’s word but want to find more in your reading and studying? Let Psalm 119 be the antidote and let the book Loving God’s Word (by Seth Kniep) be your guide. We will meet on Thursday mornings from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. in Room 205, beginning September 11^th. Sign up in the foyer or call Connie Wholford, 639-1101 or email logsamerica@juno.com. If you wish to purchase the book, the cost is $21. (Purchase of the book is not required.) If you will need child care, contact Connie ASAP. Monday evenings – Come learn more about one of history’s greatest men of God – the one who wrote over half of the New Testament -- Paul.
